Outreach Ministries
Mountain View Church of the Brethren believes that as God bless us, we must also use our gifts, skills and resources
to bless and encourage others. As a congregation, we support various organizations with in the local community
such as:
- Martinsburg Rescue Mission
- Habitat for Humanity
- Services for Stone-haven Senior Towers
- West Virginia Children's Home Society
- Loaves and Fishes
- Congregational Cooperative Action Project
Our mission extends far beyond our local mission. As we support the Mid - Atlantic District of the Church of
the Brethren:
- Disaster Relief Auction
- Brethren Service Center at New Windsor MD
We as a congregation provide financial support for Bible translators in the Philippines. Our Missionary family
is John an Kelly Chestnut, currently associated with Wycliff Bible translators.
