Outreach Ministries

Mountain View Church of the Brethren believes that as God bless us, we must also use our gifts, skills and resources to bless and encourage others. As a congregation, we support various organizations with in the local community such as:

• Martinsburg Rescue Mission
• Services for Stone-haven Senior Towers and Elmcroft Assisted Living
• West Virginia Children's Home Society
• Loaves and Fishes and
• CCAP ( Congregational Cooperative Action Project)

Our mission extends far beyond our local mission. As we support the Mid - Atlantic District of the Church of the Brethren:

• Disaster Relief Auction
• Brethren Service Center at New Windsor MD

We as a congregation provide financial support for Bible translators in the Philippines. Our Missionary family is John an Kelly Chestnut, currently associated with Wycliff Bible translators as well as Megan Hixon- Word of Life Missionary to Hungary, Faith,Hope, Love Infant Rescue- Port Au Prince Haiti and TLC Barefoot School - Delmas Haiti
