All,

Brethren Disaster Ministries (BDM) is in need of long-term cooks at the Winamac, IN and Chalmette, LA projects. Please spread the word to anyone that you might know that would be willing to spend 3 + weeks on project cooking for the volunteer groups. BDM will pay transportation costs and provide separate sleeping quarters (when possible) for any cooks that might be available. Cooks are needed during the months of July and August at both sites.

Thanks for your assistance with this urgent need.

Received from Martha Bolyard this morning:

LET'S PRAISE THE LORD!  Roxie has shared that Dick was removed from the ventilator!!!!!  He, of course, still has a feeding tube, but the therapists will be evaluating his ability to start eating food.
